For more information about feeds, feedreaders and so on, see aboutfeeds.com. You’ll need a feedreader app; here are some good ones:
- Subscribe with Feedly – free up to 100 subscriptions. Web/Android/iOS.
(I’ve been using it for a decade. It can ingest email newsletters too!) - Subscribe with Inoreader – free up to 150 subscriptions. Web/Android/iOS.
- Subscribe with The Old Reader – free/ad-supported up to 100 subscriptions. Web and apps for many platforms.
- NetNewsWire – free. iOS/Mac.
Or, if you’re the kind of person who maintains a server, you can even run your own super-minimalist RSS reader with Miniflux.
